It’s the Year of the Snake! The Lunar New Year begins on January 29, 2025. Disneyland is celebrating the Lunar New Year from January 17 through February 16, 2025 with food, festivities, characters, and more! The Disneyland Resort is known for its multicultural celebrations, and this winter Guests will ring in the Lunar New Year with wishes of health, luck, and prosperity at Disney California Adventure Park. There is so much in store, including Asian cuisine to sample, festival decor to take in, kid-friendly crafts and activities, and commemorative festive merchandise.

Your Sip and Savor Pass will make it easy to sample the delicious Korean, Chinese, and Vietnamese dishes. Simply purchase a Pass and then present it at each Marketplace!
Popular Disney characters like Mickey and Minnie will dress in festive attire for meet and greet opportunities, and you may even get to see more friends like Mulan, Mushu, and characters from Disney/Pixar’s Turning Red. These rare characters are always a special treat for Guests visiting the Disneyland Resort!
Two special entertainment offerings will take place during this time as well. Mulan’s Lunar New Year Procession is a fantastic parade featuring characters, music, and performers. It takes place on select dates throughout the festival. And, World of Color – ONE will have a Lunar New Year Celebration pre-show called Hurry Home. Follow Little Lantern on a journey to return home for the annual celebration of good luck and fortune in this 6 minute pre-show that begins right before World of Color – ONE.

Finally, the Wishing Wall is located in Paradise Gardens. Stroll through the lanterns and leave your wishes for hope, health, and happiness in the new year. The Disneyland app will have specific information about character schedules, parade times, and more so be sure to check it out during your visit!

Children ages 3-9 can visit for as low as $50 per day from January 7 through March 20, 2025 with a special ticket offer. If you are a Southern California resident, you can purchase a special 3-day ticket to use through May 15, 2025!
