Disneyland is going to be THE vacation destination in 2025! Not only will the Disneyland Resort kick off its 70th anniversary celebration, but there will be special events, festivals, and more. Let’s take a deep dive at everything Disneyland is offering in 2025!
70th Anniversary: First up is the major focal point of 2025: Disneyland’s 70th anniversary! The celebration kicks off on May 16, 2025 and runs through summer 2026. “Celebrate happy” with limited-time entertainment, specialty food and beverages, commemorative merchandise, and colorful decor. Plus, Mickey, Minnie, and their pals will be dressed in special attire for the anniversary.

- Mickey and Friends Celebrate Happy cavalcade
- World of Color Happiness nighttime show
- Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration parade
- Paint the Night parade
- Wondrous Journeys fireworks show

Festivals: The Lunar New Year will take place at Disney California Adventure Park from January 17 to February 16, 2025. Take a look at our blog post here detailing all the fun!
Food and Wine Festival runs this spring, from February 28 to April 21. This foodie event celebrates the Golden State with creative menu items, live entertainment, and the return of fan-favorites such as Chef Goofy, bookable culinary experiences, and the classic Soarin’ Over California attraction.
Season of the Force is a celebration of all things Star Wars at Disneyland Park. From March 28 to May 11, enjoy the “Fire of the Rising Moons” fireworks display and the return of Hyperspace Mountain, plus more fun.
Halloweentime sees the return of Oogie Boogie Bash, attraction overlays, not-so-spooky entertainment, and specialty food and beverages. The fun kicks off August 21 and ends on October 31. And, Plaza de la Familia also returns with the spirit of Dia de los Muertos. Here are the dates for 2025’s Oogie Boogie Bash:

Who doesn’t want to spend the holidays at the Disneyland Resort? From November 14 to January 7, this enchanting season brings joy and peace with decor, entertainment, Festival of the Holidays, and more.
Special Events: Disneyland After Dark invites you to play the night away during one of the following themed parties!
- Sweethearts’ Nite (Jan. 21, 23, 28; Feb. 4, 6, 9, 11, 13): Couples, friends and families alike can celebrate love with a new cavalcade on Main Street, U.S.A., a Royal Ball, encounters with character couples and lively music.
- 90s Nite (March 4 and 6): Dance parties, sing-alongs and more celebrate Disney films, music and pop culture from this iconic decade. “90s on Parade” will have nods to past parades, such as “The Lion King Celebration” and “Mulan Parade.”
- Star Wars Nite (April 8, 10, 22, 24, 29; May 1, 4, 6): Galactic adventures await with appearances by Star Wars characters from the Light and Dark sides of the Force, unique gatherings and out-of-this-world photo opportunities.
- Pride Nite (June 16 and 18): This celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community brings allies and community members together to enjoy rainbow projections, colorful décor, fabulous entertainment and more.
Anaheim Ducks Day takes place on January 24 at California Adventure. Fans will be able to enjoy a cavalcade, appearances by select Anaheim Ducks players, themed games and more. Anaheim Ducks Day Overtime at the Downtown Disney District will be an exciting fan zone with entertainment, fun activities and photo opportunities.
Celebrate Gospel at Disneyland Park returns on February 8 and 15! This tradition is an uplifting annual concert performed by community choirs from across Southern California and award-winning artists.
