The Free Dining Promotion returns to Disney World in 2025! This popular promotion is a fantastic way to save money and worry less. But what is free dining? How do you receive it? And is it worth it?
What is Free Dining? In order to understand what free dining is, we must back up just a little bit and learn about the two dining plans Disney World offers. See the helpful infographic below to learn what is included in each plan:
The dining plans are a great way to pay for your meals ahead of time and enjoy a stress-free vacation where you are not worried about paying for everything during your trip. Your meals are allocated as “credits” and you redeem those credits as you dine. You can view how many credits you have redeemed and how many you have left in the My Disney Experience app as well as on your receipts. Plus, receive a resort-refillable drink mug to use at your resort! Fill up on coffee before heading to the parks, or grab a late-night soda to take back to your room.
With the Free Dining Promotion, you receive either the Quick-Service Dining Plan or the Dining Plan at no extra cost depending on the resort category you book. Value and moderate resort guests receive the Quick-Service Dining Plan for free, and deluxe resort guests receive the Dining Plan for free.
How do you receive Free Dining? In order to receive the Free Dining Promotion, you will have to qualify for it based on your room type, check-in date, and package type. Guests can get a free dining plan with the purchase of a non-discounted 3-night, 3-day (at minimum) Walt Disney Travel Company package that includes a room at a select Disney Resort hotel and a ticket with a Park Hopper option.
This offer is available for most arrivals starting May 27 through June 26, and July 7 through August 6, 2025. There are some room exclusions. For example, if you have a reservation at the campsites at Fort Wilderness or a 3-bedroom villa, bungalow, or cascade cabin you are unable to receive the promotion.
